Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The expected primary outcome is to reduce anxiety in hospitalized and newly diagnosed patients with HIV/AIDS, through standard guidelines and through audiovisual resources that will contribute to the health education process of these patients. The outcome will be evaluated through statistical analysis and a reduction of up to 50% in the degree of anxiety of hospitalized patients is expected using the instrument that assesses the degree of anxiety.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome will be the non-reduction in the degree of anxiety of hospitalized patients and those with a recent diagnosis of HIV/AIDS. These patients will be referred for evaluations with the psychology professionals working in the service and the health team of the service will propose help and coping strategies together with the researcher.
