Fifty volunteers with chronic tendinopathy of shoulder will participate in the study, being divided into five groups

Age
No minimum to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Medical diagnosis characterized as chronic tendinitis of the shoulder, sign the document informed consent, age between 45 and 70 years, and not using anti-inflammatory or analgesic medication at the time of the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No chronic tendinitis of the shoulder, age out of the studied range, using anti-inflammatory or analgesic drugs, presenting other pathologies associated with tendinitis, presenting neoplasm, patients with photo sensibility, treated with other methods recently

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of the anti-inflammatory process and pain, using red and infrared LEDS, and Ultrasound, being evaluated by the Thermographic camera and the Visual Analog Scale (VAS)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improved range of joint motion and local muscle strengthening, applying kinesiotherapy, being assessed by goniometric evaluation, digital hand dynamometer and the electromyography that analyses the electrical impulse sent by the muscles. Improvement of the quality of life of each patient, assessed through the use of the Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ; 15 questions).
