Conditions

Alveolar Bone Loss

Interventions

This is a randomized controlled clinical trial that will be carried out in 40 alveoli, twenty will be selected patients of both sexes, aged between eighteen and seventy years. For the selection of pat
patients with remaining bone < 3 mm up to the anterior nasal fossa, maxillary sinus and mandibular canal, and
patients presenting alveoli with four intact bone walls. After two months of incorporation of the grafts, the implants will be inserted in the region of the alveoli treated with L-PRF associated with

Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals of both sexes aged between 18 and 70 years will be included, with the need for extraction and installation of implants in the second surgical stage, patients with bone remaining < 3 mm up to the anterior nasal fossa; maxillary sinus and mandibular canal; patients presenting alveoli with four bony walls intact

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: individuals with uncontrolled systemic disorder that could interfere with bone healing; using bisphosphonates; denosumab; using corticosteroids; who received therapeutic radiation to the head and neck region in the last five years; history of heavy smoking >10 cigarettes per day; immunosuppression; individuals with poor oral hygiene and pregnant women

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the area of new bone formation in alveoli grafts with fibrin rich in platelets and leukocytes alone or associated with the synthetic graft, using the histomorphometric method, we hope to observe a higher percentage of newly formed bone, where the fibrin rich in platelets and leukocytes is associated with the synthetic graft

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
No secondary outcomes are expected
