Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Young men (18 to 30 years old); At least six months of experience in strength training; Be healthy, especially considering cardiovascular and metabolic aspects; Not have any type of injury or joint, muscle, or bone problem that affects the knee extension exercise; Not report increased sensitivity or allergy to caffeine; Not be using anabolic steroids; Not be using supplements containing caffeine for at least one week; Be familiar with the squat exercise; Not be a smoker

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Failure to complete all scheduled sessions; Performing resistance exercises, cyclic exercises, or any other type of exercise for the lower limbs during the experimental period that may affect the participant's performance during the tests; Using ergogenic substances other than those prescribed during the study period; Consuming additional caffeine not planned during the experimental period that may affect the test results
