Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Presentation of the expected outcome is that stress can influence the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease. The method chosen to measure was the perceived stress scale in the reduced version with 10 items. The scale consists of 10 questions whose scores range from 0 to 4 (0 = never, 1 = almost never; 2 = sometimes; 3 = almost always; 4 = always). The total sum of each item results in a score ranging from 0 to 40 points, and values ??above the 75th percentile should be considered indicative of a high level of stress. | — |

| The presentation of the method used to measure the influence of stress on the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease was the scale and stress perceived in the reduced version with 10 questions, with scores ranging from 0 to 4 (0 = never; 1 = almost never; 2 = sometimes; 3 = almost always; 4 = always) with results ranging from 0 to 40. On this scale, the higher the score, the higher the stress level. If the value in the population studied is low, it means that stress did not influence the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease. | — |
