Age
No minimum to 0 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Be waiting for cardiac surgery; 40 years or older at the time of data collection; Be hospitalized more than one day at the cardiology unit; Be in good physical and mental condition to perform intraoral clinical examination

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Use of immunosuppressive drugs or antibiotics; Have contraindications for treatment of another disease; Have had radiotherapy treatment near the head and neck region; Patients with a pacemaker
