Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| It's expected to observe postural balance changes assessed through center of pressure variables obtained from a force platform (displacement amplitude and velocity) during standing task, comparing pre- and post-intervention moments in individuals with Parkinson's disease in the OFF medication state | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| It's expected to observe electromyographic activity changes of lower limb muscles assessed through surface electromyography (signal amplitude and activation timing) during standing and gait initiation tasks, comparing pre- and post-intervention moments; it's expected to find changes in anticipatory postural adjustments parameters obtained from electromyographic and force platform variables; it's expected to find changes in kinematic and spatiotemporal variables of gait initiation assessed by accelerometry (reaction time, execution time, and displacement) | — |
