Age
40 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals with bimaxillary edentulous adults aged 40 to 80 years, of both sexes; users or non-conventional dentures; requiring preparation or replacement of dentures; receptive and mentally agile; ridges with normal resilience and volume

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Debilitating systemic diseases and pathological changes in the oral tissues such as neoplasms or candidiasis; neuromuscular impairment; D diabetes mellitus; xerostomia; use of antibiotics in the period, or in the 3 months preceding the study; using denture adhesives

Evaluation of the percentage of remaining adhesive from maxillary complete dentures, after different denture cleaning methods.;Brushing using coconut soap, dentifrice and water followed by soaking in denture cleansing were effective methods to remove a cream type denture adhesive.
