Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with arteriovenous fistula for at least six months; both sexes; age over 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: mental or cognitive disorder that makes it impossible to apply the data collection instrument.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Increase in the average of knowledge, attitude and practice of self-care with arteriovenous fistula among renal patients, measured by means of an evaluation questionnaire applied before the intervention and after seven, thirty and ninety days, from the observation of a variation of at least 5% in pre and post-intervention measurements.
