Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected outcome 1 It is related to an improvement in cardiac autonomic modulation by analyzing heart rate variability in the frequency domain by the autoregressive method considering the signal in the high frequency (HF) and low frequency (LF) bands. The relationship between sympathetic and parasympathetic modulation will be evaluated by the LF / HF ratio, which represents the sympatho-vagal balance. The verification of the effect of the intervention in the improvement of the cardiac autonomic modulation will be due to the reduction of at least 1 point in the LF / HF ratio values between the pre- and post-intervention periods. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected outcome 2 It is related to the improvement of metabolic control of glycemia, which is represented by the reduction of fasting glycemia. Fasting glycemia will be measured in a biochemical reflectance spectrophotometry analyzer in venous blood by ulnar puncture after eight-hour overnight fasting. Blood glucose measurements will be performed in the pre- and post-intervention moments. The effect of the intervention on the metabolic control of glycemia will be verified by a reduction of at least 13 (mg / dL) in the mean values of fasting glycemia. | — |
