This proposal is a cross-sectional quantitative descriptive study that will be carried out with a population of 700 elderly people linked to the Unified Health System in basic units in the urban area

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elderly individuals of both genders; age equal to or greater than 60 years; undergoing treatment at the basic unit; residents in Jataí-GO

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal to participate; presenting physical and intellectual disabilities; having motor limitations preventing tests

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that the elderly will be categorized as insufficiently active, using the assessment method proposed by the International Physical Activity Questionnaire. The parameter used to verify this outcome is physical activity of less than 150 minutes per week;The elderly are expected to be outside the reference values for body mass index, according to the BMI calculation method. The parameter used will be values above 25-29.9 Kg/m2
