Age
60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: olunteers aged at least 60 years; diagnosis of End-stage Chronic Kidney Disease in Hemodialysis; of both sexes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Elderly people with severe visual loss; difficulty in clinical follow-up; the use of medications with photosensitizing potential such as imipramine, hypericum, phenothiazines, lithium, chloroquine, hydrochlorothiazide, or tetracycline will be excluded; dementia

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find as a primary outcome the improvement of daytime sleepiness of the elderly on daytime hemodialysis (first time, from 6 to 10 am).—

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find as a secondary outcome a significant improvement in the occupational performance of elderly people on hemodialysis after exposure to bright afternoon light, mainly in cognitive performance with an emphasis on memory, which may also benefit drug and hemodialysis treatment.—
