Eligibility

Age
1 Days to 120 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Newborn positive for mutation TP53 R337H; relatives of the positive newborn on the parental side who inherited the TP53 R337H mutation; both genders; age between 1 day and 120 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Relatives of the parental side who did not inherit the mutation TP53 R337H.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Higher prevalence of cancer among TP53 R337H mutation carriers and differences in case frequency by sub-regions of the state of Paraná, through a genetic study and data collection of 612 families, evaluated by continuous monitoring and the geographic information system (SIG).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The increase in the early diagnosis of cancer in the monitored population, evaluated in comparison to hospital-based or population-based data, and cases that occurred in the cohort before the interference of our team.;The effectiveness of the educational program (genetic counseling and guidance to reduce exposure to environmental contaminants, evaluated by the increase of people who did not develop cancer compared to the period before the intervention.
