7 Years to 10 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: To study the initial stage will be included children of both sexes; aged 7-10 years; who are enrolled in selected schools; whose parents have signed the Consent Agreement and Informed and children the Free Consent Term Cleared up. For the later stage of the study children will be included from the group of those with a positive indication for TDC; which have availability to participate regularly from interventions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: At this early stage of DCD tracking will be excluded children who have a physical disability; intellectual and or sensory impairments; autism spectrum disorder; orthopedic problems or other medical condition that may compromise the identification of the DCD. Children will be excluded if they do not meet the minimum of 10 intervention sessions; showing some clinical complications or making use of drugs that precludes their participation in training.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Increase by at least 10% of the scores obtained in the manual dexterity skill, aiming and catching and balance, and the total score MABC-2 test in children.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Increase by at least 5% in the energy expenditure of children after the interventions with virtual reality in relation interventions without virtual reality.
