Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: As inclusion criterion were established; healthy volunteers; both genders; that carried out at least 4 trainings per week; in addition to 15 to 30 matches per season.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: As an exclusion criterion; athletes with some musculoskeletal injury were established prior to the beginning of the study; which prevented the performance of the injury prevention program

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The rate of all athletes' injuries (incidence and prevalence). As well as; the mechanism of injury (acute or overload); their exposure (training or play); diagnosis of the lesion (location in the body); the consequence of the injury (medical attention and lost time); besides the severity of the injury. We included the analysis of all injuries recorded after the initiation of the preventive program to compare the risk of injury between groups. The estimated injury rate was calculated as follows: [(number of events during a specified period) / (total exposure of athletes at risk during a specified period)] 1000. The exposure time was calculated as (1) hours of participation and (2) Exposure to the athlete. Participation hours were calculated for each group as the sum of the number of hours of exposure of each player (corresponding exposure time, training exposure time, total exposure time = combine 1 hour of training). The athlete's exposure was calculated for each group as the number of athletes participating in each game or training session (1 athlete participating in 1 game or 1 training session). The mean values ??of the participation hours and the athlete's exposure were compared between the two groups using the t-test. A value of P \ .05 was considered significant.

And as a secundary outcome we defined as the feasibility of the study, evaluated by the adherence of the technicians to implement and the motivation of the athletes to execute the program of injury prevention. Evaluated through satisfaction questionnaire.
