Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 30 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Need for orthodontic treatment; resence of mandibular lateral deviation; acceptance of treatment with fixed orthodontic appliances; aged between 18 and 30 years; both sexes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Missing teeth; unsatisfactory prosthetic rehabilitations; symptoms of moderate and severe temporomandibular disorder (TMD)

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find improvement in joint stability during mandibular movements after treatment

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find beneficial bone remodeling in the condylar region after treatment
