Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients affected by traumatic meniscal injuries and anterior cruciate ligament injury, with indication of arthroscopy; Held at the HURCG orthopedics and traumatology outpatient clinic; Both sexes; Older than 18 years; Less than 60 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Peripheral venous insufficiency; Deep vein thrombosis; Remove the band before 72 hours of use; Heart failure III-IV; Renal insufficiency; Infectious disease present, uncured; Cutaneous lesions in the area where the tapes should be applied; Perform physical therapy during the data collection; Lymphedema before surgery.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Prevention of edema after knee arthroscopy, evaluated by ultrasound, perimetry in the pre and postoperative periods.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Pain reduction, assessed by visual analogue pain scale in the pre- and postoperative periods.;Increased range of motion, assessed by goniometry in the pre- and postoperative periods.
