Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Nurses of both sexes who report or refer to feeling anxious during the interview will be included; those who have some degree of anxiety evidenced by IDATE and nurses with at least 1 year of experience in the ICU will also be included; the nurse will be included in the research regardless of the use of psychotropic medications and psychological support, so that our research does not interfere with their treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Professionals who have been away for more than six consecutive months in the last year; professionals who are on vacation or away during the execution of the research and participants who, through self-report, have a mental disorder, other than anxiety, will be excluded, according to sociodemographic instrument

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a decrease in the levels of anxiety in nurses, being evaluated by a scale that demonstrates the level of anxiety present, dividing it into both trait and state, it is expected to obtain a statistically significant decrease with a reliability of 95%

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to observe an improvement in the vital signs presented by the professionals after Reiki, checking the Vital Signs in a standardized way and following the recommendations for a correct measurement, being verified before and after so that a comparison can be made before and after the same session and between the first and the last;It is expected to find a greater relaxation of the professional verified by the vital signs, applied scales and reports collected during the intervention, it is expected to find lower levels of vital signs and a decrease in the values obtained in the scale
