18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women between the ages of 18 and 60; with a BMI greater than or equal to 25 kg/m2; who are not currently engaged in any other method of weight control

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were: current pharmacological treatment for obesity; have serious medical or psychiatric conditions; insulin-dependent diabetes; be pregnant, breastfeeding or intending to become pregnant during the study period; have untreated hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism; practicing mindfulness, meditation, yoga or similar practices in the previous 6 months (with formal practice at least once a week); having had any type of bariatric surgery

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find improvement in sleep quality, improved quality of life, change in eating practices, better perception of body image, change in anxiety and depression levels, improvement in biochemical exams in group 2 and group 3 participants;It is expected to find greater weight loss in group 1 participants

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find better maintenance of the results achieved, especially in relation to weight, in participants from group 2 and group 3;It is expected to find weight regain in group 1 participants
