Sleep Deprivation

Interventions

This is a randomized controlled clinical trial, in which 60 military police officers assigned to a battalion located in the Center-West region of Brazil were randomized, 30 from the control group (CG)
IG 2 – intervention group 2 (guidance on sleep hygiene)
IG 3 – intervention group 3 (guidance on healthy eating and sleep hygiene), over 12 consecutive weeks, once a week.

Age
18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Belonging to the 18th Battalion of the Military Police of the State of Goiás (18th BPM), carrying out its activities on a 24/72 hour duty schedule; Be a member of active military police; Age over 18 and under 60 years old; You have an active WhatsApp® application on your cell phone

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: During the research, you are removed from your duties for reasons not controlled by the research; Have a diagnosis of chronic complications such as kidney failure, blindness, limb amputation, among others

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Improve eating behavior (measured by the How is your diet?) test score and sleep pattern (measured by the Chrononutrition Profile questionnaire) after the intervention carried out

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improve participants' work ability index (WAI), measured by scores from the Tuomi Work Ability questionnaire
