Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants of both sexes; age =18 years; undergoing hemodialysis through arteriovenous fistula puncture for at least 4 weeks and at most 4 months; functional and stable arteriovenous fistula in the last three sessions, without signs of infection; absence of neurological or cognitive conditions capable of interfering with the intervention or data collection.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Visual or auditory hypersensitivity; use of pharmacological therapy for anxiety or antidepressants; use of analgesics in the 24 hours prior to the procedure; history of severe migraine or balance disorders; requirement of a new puncture of the fistula during the procedure; hemodynamic instability.
