The prospective longitudinal study included a total of 200 patients, referred to the surgical clinic of the University Hospital Lauro Wanderley, Federal University of Paraíba (HULW), and to the Senado

not having any other comorbidity that prevents the application of the reconstruction methods proposed in this study
have favorable clinical conditions for the procedure and remain in follow-up for at least 6 months. Relative percentage values and means were applied in the data analysis.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Presenting a lesion in the leg, with exposed bone fracture or not; be 18 years of age or older; not having any other comorbidity that prevents the application of the reconstruction methods proposed in this study; have favorable clinical conditions for the procedure; remain in follow-up for at least 6 months
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Cases in need of microsurgery
