Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age between 18 and 40 years; Have a medical diagnosis of patellar tendinitis; Present pain in the region of the patellar tendon; Agreement not to undergo any physical therapy or other rehabilitation procedure during the research period or less than six months; Agreement to not undergo any drug treatment during the research period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Have undergone physiotherapeutic treatment or other rehabilitation procedure in the last six months; Present serious cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological and orthopedic diseases; Missing three consecutive appointments without prior notice to the research team.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
As a primary endpoint of this research, we hope to improve muscle activation, verified by the Modified Sphygmomanometer Test (TEM), which involves the use of the aneroid sphygmomanometer, with a pre-inflation of 20 mmHg and an improvement in flexibility, verified by the indices of angular flexibility will be achieved through the goniometer that registers the ADM in degrees (º), and the linear one through the sit and reach test of Wells (TSAW).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
As a secondary endpoint, improvement in functionality in individuals with patellar tendonitis, analyzed through vertical jump, Single hop test, Triple hop test and Crossover hop test.
