Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1: To evaluate the effects of Whole-Body Electrostimulation combined with Protein Supplementation on physical capacities, hypertrophy, glycemic control, and the reduction of advanced glycation end products.;Observed outcome 1: Protein supplementation combined with whole-body electrostimulation training improved mobility and reduced body mass. It did not enhance muscle strength and hypertrophy, glycemic levels, physical capacities, or advanced glycation end products in older adults living with T2DM.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
No secondary outcomes were expected.
