This is a two-arm, open-label, randomized controlled clinical trial. Participants will be divided into two groups: a control group, which will undergo mechanical stimulation of the salivary glands to
and an experimental group, which will undergo mechanical stimulation of the salivary glands and concomitant photobiostimulation with a low-level laser. Each group will consist of thirty individuals. A

Eligibility

Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients over 18 years of age; hypertensive patients taking antihypertensive medications; type 2 diabetics will be included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients undergoing cancer treatment; patients with Sjögren's Syndrome; those with renal failure; type 1 diabetics;pregnant women; breastfeeding women; patients using anxiolytics which have xerostomia and hyposalivation as a side effect; those who present any type of photosensitivity will be excluded

It is expected that with the use of photobiomodulation with infrared laser there will be an improvement in the quantitative and qualitative parameters of the saliva of individuals undergoing research
