18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: be female; individuals aged 18 ato 70; having been diagnosed with breast cancer; have an indication for surgical treatment to symmetrize the breasts; understand the objectives and instruments used in the research

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: have an allergy to the taping tape; have neurological diseases (e.g. Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, etc.); present psychological disorders that impede understanding of the research and assessment instruments; being undergoing surgical treatment for recurrence of breast cancer; Participants who develop infections, hemorrhages, hematomas or other complications (except scar dehiscence) in the P.O. period

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a considerable reduction in the presence of edema, pain and discomfort. Assess skin condition after applying the bandage

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find reduced levels of pain and discomfort, degree of edema, and presence and classification of ecchymosis, in addition to expecting no scar dehiscence;An increase in the quality of life, comfort and satisfaction with the general appearance of the participants' breasts is expected, through the BEQ 55 instrument – ??Breast Assessment Questionnaire
