Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| We expect to verify that the indices of cardiovascular autonomic modulation in the experimental condition of alternating between sitting and standing in the sit-stand table will show higher activation of the sympathetic branch of the cardiac and vascular autonomic nervous system (ANS) compared to the sitting condition. Furthermore, we expect Baroreflex Sensitivity (BRS) to be increased in the sitting condition since this variable is influenced by sympathetic modulation of the ANS. | — |
