Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age from 18 years; without diagnosis of cardiorespiratory, metabolic or neuromuscular diseases that prevent the performance of physical exercises

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Basal cardiorespiratory fitness greater than 9 METs.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1: Increase of 1 to 2 Mets in cardiorespiratory fitness, as measured by cardiopulmonary exercise test at baseline and at the end of the study (pre and post intervention).;Expected outcome 2: Increase in the level of physical activity measured by the average number of daily steps, determined by triaxial accelerometry at the beginning of the study and at the end of the study (pre and post intervention).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1: Significant or clinical improvements in the measurements of cardiometabolic variables, determined by anthropometry and body composition, glycemia, lipidemia and blood pressure, at the beginning of the study and at the end of the study (pre and post intervention).
