Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female and male patients; over 18 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Incomplete cecal intubation; hypersensitivity reactions to the use of lactulose; diabetes; lactose intolerance; hemicolectomy

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find an improvement in the quality of bowel preparation of patients who receive a phone call the day before colonoscopy, verified by the Boston Bowel Preparation Scale, with a variation of at least 5% between the scores of the intervention and control groups.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to reduce the need of repeating the colonoscopy due to inadequate preparation, verified by the exame repetition rate, with a variation of at least 5% between the repetition rate of the intervention and control groups.
