Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Newborns weighing less than 1500 grams; clinically stable

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Newborns with congenital malformation of the chest, abdomen or face; newborns with grade IV intracranial hemorrhage; Newborns with congenital infections.

Change in the phase angle between the prone and supine positions in the same newborn.;Change in breathing pattern during spontaneous breathing in very low birth weight preterm infants in the prone and supine positions.;Change in heart rate and oxygen saturation between prone and supine positions in the same newborn.
