Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Be an undergraduate nursing student; Be enrolled in the Pediatric and Neonatological Nursing II discipline
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Absence on the day of the intervention; Not correctly filling out the data collection instruments

| Greater learning is expected in students undergoing clinical simulation (experimental group) compared to the case study (control group), verified by the difference in mean scores on the learning assessment instrument (validated by the study authors) in both groups by at least 1.5 points. The instrument is evaluated using a scale of 0 to 20 points.;Higher clinical judgment scores are expected in students undergoing clinical simulation (experimental group) compared to the case study (control group), verified by the difference in mean scores on the Lasater Clinical Judgment Rubric instrument in the two groups by at least 2 points.
