Counseling and Exercise Group (GAE, n=40): Adolescents will be submitted to an intervention consisting of behavioral counseling and face-to-face on changes in group lifestyle, once a week

Age
13 Years to 18 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adolescents; both sexes; age between 13 and 18 years; obese

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Body mass above 120 kg; Positive PAR-Q; self-reported diseases; electrocardiographic changes at rest; chronic alcohol consumption; previous drug use; pregnancy

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the effect of different types of intervention on inflammatory (adipokine) and biochemical markers. Data collected at baseline, after 12 and 24 weeks, with statistical analysis within and between groups.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Anthropometric measurements (Body Mass; Height; Body Mass Index and body composition) and food pattern analysis (application of a 3-day Food Frequency Questionnaire and Food Record).Data collected at baseline, after 12 and 24 weeks, with statistical analysis within and between groups.
