Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Grade II or III of knee osteoarthritis; female subjects; classified as low active and irregularly active according to criteria established by the International Physical Activity Questionnaire - short version; age between 55 and 70 years; willingness to participate in the treatment plan.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: They have cardiovascular, neurological or musculoskeletal disease that makes them unable to perform the exercise protocol; evidence of secondary, inflammatory or metabolic disease; use of conventional, non-conventional or alternative treatments that may potentially have effects on the results of the study (physiotherapy and / or injections of intra-articular corticosteroid or hyaluronic acid during the last 3 months); symptomatic hip OA; absolute contraindication for laser therapy as the presence of neoplasia in the region of lower limbs; individuals who have malnutrition or morbid obesity.
