Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Volunteers with good oral and general health conditions; presence of all anterior teeth, not having previously performed bleaching treatment and over 18 years of age.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Volunteers with a history of tooth sensitivity; restorations or facets on anterior teeth; gingival recession in anterior tooth; spontaneous toothache; anterior tooth with endodontic treatment; fluorosis or severe tooth discoloration; bruxism; teeth in orthodontic treatment; being pregnant or breastfeeding and smoking.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The speed of the bleaching treatment was lower in the group with a diet without restriction of colored foods and with periodic mouthwashes with red wine compared to the other groups evaluated.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The result of the whitening treatment was not influenced by the ingestion of colored food or mouthwash with red wine. ;No differences in transoperative sensitivity were observed between groups when stained food restriction was performed and in groups without food restriction
