18 Years to 30 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women; healthy; aged between 18 and 30; with no history of nerve injury and/or musculoskeletal disorders in the limbs to be tested, which could interfere with the results.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals using continuous pain-inhibiting medication; individuals with cardiac pacemakers; women who are pregnant, in the postpartum period, or menstruating; volunteers who, during the familiarization stimulation, cannot tolerate at least one contraction induced at 50% of their maximum voluntary isometric contraction force

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the difference in peak torque generated between the self-adhesive electrode and the carbon–silicone electrode, measured through dynamometry.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To analyze and compare the discomfort of patients during the application of neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) using the self-adhesive electrode and the carbon–silicone electrode, measured through the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS).
