Interventions

This is a two-arm, cross-sectional, parallel randomised clinical trial with partial blinding, totalling 184 participants. After agreeing to the study conditions and signing the Informed Consent Form,
this procedure will ensure randomisation quality, allocation concealment, and intervention standardisation. Blinding will be applied at three levels: participants will not be informed of the study&apo
s primary hypothesis or the specific comparison of interest between groups
the researcher responsible for delivering the intervention will not have access to the randomisation sequence and will not know in advance which format will be activated by the code entered
the statistician responsible for the analyses will receive a coded dataset with no group identification. Headphones will be provided to all participants regardless of group assignment, preventing soun

No minimum to 12 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: To be the father, mother or guardian of a child aged 0 to 12 years receiving care at the Paediatric Dentistry Clinic of the Bauru School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo; to be a native Brazilian; to be literate; to not be a dental professional; to have access to the Internet at home

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants who, for any reason, decide to withdraw their previously signed consent will be excluded

A difference in the perceived credibility and utility of content on the use of fluorides for the prevention of dental caries between groups is expected, assessed by a post-intervention instrument applied immediately after exposure to the informational content, comprising questions on perceived credibility and utility of the messages received, in a single session with an estimated duration of approximately 30 minutes
