Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: children of both sexes aged five to fourteen years; documented history or institutional report of domestic violence including neglect physical abuse psychological abuse sexual abuse or abandonment; receiving care at a Child Psychosocial Care Center in the municipality of Botucatu São Paulo Brazil; availability to participate in the twelve weekly intervention sessions; written informed consent provided by a parent or legal guardian and assent provided by the child
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: children receiving individual psychological treatment at the time of screening; presence of severe neurological conditions or severe disorders that may prevent participation in group activities; significant comprehension or communication difficulties that prevent participation in the intervention; recurrent low school or institutional attendance indicating a low probability of adherence to the study; clinical contraindication issued by the Child Psychosocial Care Center team
