Age
6 Years to 18 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Renal transplant recipients up to six months post-transplant; of both sexes; aged between 6 and 18 years; under follow-up at the Nephrology Outpatient Clinic of Santo Antonio Children’s Hospital; and whose parents or guardians agree to participate by signing the written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with severe underlying lung disease; associated neurological disease; orthopedic disease that not allow the test performing; contraindicated patients to perform pulmonary function tests according recommendations from Brazilian Guidelines for Pulmonary Function Testes; patients with cognitive difficulty to understand and perform tests

MeasureTime frame
Respiratory muscle strength, measured by manovacuometry, before and after intervention (and biweekly to adjust the Threshold load)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Pulmonary function, measured by spirometry, before and after intervention;Functional capacity, measured by the 6-minute walk test, before and after intervention;Inflammatory markers observed through the results of laboratory tests, before and after intervention
