Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of both genders with chronic kidney disease diagnosed by the glomerular filtration rate or albuminuria for more than 3 months; be undergoing hemodialysis procedures at least 3 times a week for more than 3 months and for 4 hours per session; be over 18 years old; have chronic pain greater than 3 according to the visual numerical scale for more than 3 months; no anemia; no class III and IV heart failure according to the New York Heart Association classification; no history of cerebrovascular or peripheral arterial disease
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Having metallic implants in the head; decompensated diabetes mellitus; hypertension; history of dizziness or epileptic disorders; signs of severe illness and/or hemodynamic instability and pregnant women

| Painful symptoms, adopted as the primary outcome, will be measured using different scales and questionnaires. Initially, the visual analogue scale will be used, which presents a gradient of pain levels, through numerical variation between 0 (no pain) and 100 (the worst possible pain) at intervals of 1 cm. McGill's questionnaire will be applied to characterize pain. Features 20 items with 2 to 5 options to choose from each item. Participants must choose only pain characterization from the options. Recruitment of dialysis patients with chronic pain. Finally, neuropathic pain will be measured using the Douleur Neuropathique en 4 Questions (DN4) questionnaire. This questionnaire contains 4 questions and the answers must be yes or no. For each yes answer, 1 point will be added. | Functional mobility will be assessed by applying the Timed Up and Go test. Initially, the individuals will be seated in a chair, after being allowed to start the test, they will have to get up, walk 3 meters and come back. The stopwatch will be activated the moment the command to start is given, and will be deactivated when the individual is seated again;The arm flexion test (dominant or more painful) will be performed for 30 seconds to measure upper limb function. Participants must hold a 2 kg dumbbell and perform elbow flexions and extensions as many times as possible during the given time;The flexibility of the lower limbs will be measured by the sit on the chair and reach test. A chair approximately 43 cm wide and 50 cm high with back support will be used. Individuals should sit on the edge of the chair, extend the lower limb (knee), do ankle dorsiflexion with the heel resting on the floor to try to reach the toes with both hands superimposed. The final position should be maintained for at least 2 seconds and the average of 3 repetitions will be taken to measure the final score;The flexibility test will be used to measure the flexibility of upper limbs. Individuals should place the dominant or most painful hand on the ipsilateral shoulder performing elbow flexion, abduction and external rotation of the shoulder, while the other limb will be in extension, adduction and external rotation of the shoulder. The fingers of the upper limbs should approach as much as possible;Manual dynamometry (DM) is a test performed on the dominant upper limb with a portable device, the dynamometer. The test will be performed with the patient in a sitting position, in the supine position, shoulder adducted, together with the elbow flexed at 90 degrees and the wrist in a neutral position.
