Interventions

There will be invited 10 patients who will only be part of the Virtual Reality Therapy intervention. Patients will be submitted to Virtual Reality Therapy for the lateral step, squatting and jumping.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were the occurrence of stroke episode (single, unilateral, ischemic) at least 6 months before the beginning of the study, minimum score in the Mental State Mini Exam according to the volunteer's level of education and in the item " "(2 points) of the Admissional Scale. In addition, maintenance of standing posture was necessary without support or use of a walking aid for one minute according to item 2 of the Berg scale.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for a presence of cardiovascular diseases; cognitive or communication deficiencies that preclude a procedure exercise; antecedents of joint or muscular injuries in the lower limbs (fractures, dislocations or surgery and generalized ligament laxity).

The results will be presented in table and / or graphs and should include the improvement of the gait through the analysis by the planting, as well as, the reduction of the muscle tone score by the modified Ashworth scale and the balance through the Berg scale after the application Of virtual reality therapy. We did not present the parameters (numbers, percentages, etc.) for each aforementioned outcome, so we can not quote them by the hour. Likewise, the description of the expected outcome has not yet been performed, but for analysis of the effectiveness of virtual reality therapy in the hemiparetic gait pattern, we will compare the mean difference between pre and post evaluation values in the Microsoft® Excel® program of the plantigraphy , The modified Ashworth scale and the Berg scale for gait, muscle tone and balance assessment, respectively.;The results will be presented in table and / or graphs for analysis of muscle tone, balance and, finally, improvement of gait after application of virtual reality therapy. To analyze this improvement, we compared the mean difference between the pre and post evaluation values in the Microsoft® Excel® program.
