Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Men and women over 18 years of age who are literate (with ability to write and read in Portuguese); who have been on treatment for UUS in one of the services for at least fifteen days; who have consented to be randomized to one of the two groups (control or experimental) .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with psychotic disorders diagnosed by the physician responsible for the services participating in the research or informed by the team for clinical knowledge prior to the patient's hospitalization; who present severe cognitive impairment that prevents the completion of the scales; patients with suicidal ideation.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that after participating in the MBRP sessions, participants will exhibit less behavioral use of Psychoactive Substances.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Less craving for Psychoactive Substances, less expressions of anger, as well as feeling less impulsivity, anxiety and depression symptoms, as well as increased self-esteem and awareness of mood states, not judgments of the inner experience
