Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Maintenance of C-reactive protein (PCR) after six months of respiratory muscle training, verified by blood analysis, without variation of PCR;Increased respiratory muscle strength after six months of respiratory muscle training, analyzed by manovacuometry, verified by a 10% variation in respiratory muscle strength | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Improvement in quality of life after six weeks of respiratory muscle training, evaluated with the SF-36 questionnaire, with improvements in functional capacity domains and limitations due to physical aspects;Improved functionality after six weeks of respiratory muscle training, assessed through the sit-up test, with an increase in the number of test repetitions for 30 seconds | — |
