Interventions

To participate in the study, 100 individuals aged 18 and older with musculoskeletal pain lasting 6 months or more will be invited. Participants with chronic pain will be paired in pairs and randomly a

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Be over 18 years of age; men and women; present a medical certificate to participate in evaluations and physical exercise practice; have persistent musculoskeletal pain lasting 6 months or longer; be sedentary (not engaging in 150 minutes or more of moderate aerobic activity per week); demonstrate understanding of the questionnaires, tests/scales, and instructions/guidelines during evaluations and physical exercise practice

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presenting restrictions that make it impossible to carry out assessments and practice physical exercises; present a medical diagnosis of dementia; have symptoms of COVID-19; not carrying out all the procedures foreseen in this study

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that volunteers with Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain will present some changes in cortical activity associated with cognitive dimensions during dual-task activity. ;It is expected that the intervention with Physical Exercises can improve symptoms related to pain and the intervention with Pain Neuroscience Education can reduce limitations experienced in common routine activities and understand the pain condition, minimizing fears, myths and beliefs.
