2 Years to 19 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children and adolescents up to 19 years and 8 months at the beginning of the research; confirmed diagnosis of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Boys who show signs of acute infection on the day of the evaluations; or who, during the study, are hospitalized; undergo surgery; or do not wish to continue participating in it.

| Increase the z-score in the classification of bone density analyzed by bone densitometry. ;Increase the gene expression of the RANK / RANKL / OPG in the individuals studied. ;Plasma levels of inflammatory markers influenced by zinc and glutamine are expected to decrease. As well as, that glutamine assists in the maintenance of lean mass in these individuals, determined through the analysis of body composition. | — |
