Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Significant reduction (p> 0.05) in myoelectric activity (both in the root mean square - RMS and in the median frequency spectrum) of the lumbar multifidus when comparing the pre and post intervention values (Stretching Knees on Chest supported by 10, 30 and 60 seconds); The stretching of the paravertebral muscles using the “Knees in the Chest” technique of the Williams series, sustained for 10, 30 and 60 seconds, did not produce acute changes in the mydrogenic activity of the multifidus, neither in the domain of time nor frequency | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Significant decrease (p> 0.05) in the static and dynamic stability of the lumbopelvic region when comparing the values before and after stretching "Knees in the chest" sustained for 10, 30 and 60 seconds, measured using the Miostab device; The stretching of the paravertebral muscles using the “Knees in the Chest” technique of the Williams series, sustained for 10, 30 and 60 seconds, did not produce significant changes in the static and dynamic stability of the lumbopelvic region when comparing the pre and post intervention values, measured using the Miostab device | — |
