Age
20 Years to 59 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Volunteers recruited in the municipalities of João Pessoa/PB and Ponta Grossa/PR; healthy volunteers; both genders; non smokers; minimum age of 20 years and maximum age of 59 years; good oral health; teeth free from carious lesions; gingival recessions and active periodontal disease in the anterior region; canines color A2 or darker according to the Vita Classical scale

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previous tooth bleaching; previous tooth sensitivity; presence of dental prosthesis; presence of orthodontic appliance; restorations in upper anterior teeth; non-carious cervical lesions; endodontic treatment in upper anterior teeth; teeth with tetracycline staining or fluorosis; visible cracks in the teeth; pregnant or breastfeeding women; habit holders parafunctional

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to observe a tooth change with the use of a 3% hydrogen peroxide dentifrice, which may vary according to the age group, through the observation of an objective color variation in pre and post measurements intervention

It is expected to observe some dental sensitivity with the use of a toothpaste with 3% hydrogen peroxide, which may vary according to the age group, assessed through the application of a visual analogue scale pre and post-intervention;It is expected to observe some gingival irritation with the use of a toothpaste with 3% hydrogen peroxide, which may vary according to the age group, assessed through the application of a pre- and post-intervention visual analogue scale;It is expected to observe some improvement in aesthetic self-perception with the use of a toothpaste with 3% hydrogen peroxide, which may vary according to the age group, assessed through a pre- and post-intervention questionnaire;It is expected to observe some improvement in oral condition and quality of life with the use of a toothpaste with 3% hydrogen peroxide, which may vary according to the age group, assessed through the pre- and post-intervention questionnaire
