Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Health professionals with mid-level or higher education; both genders; working in Primary Health Care Units for at least three months; weekly workload equal to or greater than 30 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Professionals absent from work for any reason including vacation and leave; participants not reached by phone after three attempts at different days and times; non-completion of the intervention on the Moodle platform

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to observe the presence of ageist attitudes among healthcare professionals, verified by the Fraboni Scale of Ageism, with total scores ranging from 25 to 175, where higher scores indicate greater presence of ageist attitudes

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to observe an increase in knowledge about aging, verified by the Palmore-Neri-Cachioni Questionnaire of Basic Knowledge on Aging, with total scores ranging from 0 to 25, where higher scores indicate higher knowledge;It is expected to observe a reduction of negative discriminatory behaviors and an increase of positive discriminatory behaviors toward older adults, verified by the Relation with Older People Scale (ROPE), with total scores per dimension ranging from 0 to 2 and expressed as the proportion of behaviors reported;It is expected to observe a decrease in anxiety about aging, verified by the “Attitudes Toward Own Aging” (ATOA) subscale of the Philadelphia Geriatric Morale Scale, with total scores ranging from 0 to 5, where higher scores indicate more negative self-perception;It is expected to observe changes in implicit attitudes toward older adults, verified by the Implicit Association Test (IAT), analyzing automatic associations between positive or negative words and images of older or younger adults, with observed changes in response times and implicit associations
