The final sample consisted of 14 neurotypical children who regularly practiced tennis, 12 boys (85.71%) and 2 girls (14.29%), with a mean age of 10.29 years (±0.83). The 3x3 ECRc design was used to ev
working memory. To minimize residual effects between experimental conditions, a minimum washout period of seven days was adopted. The sample consisted of young tennis athletes, aged between 9 and 11 y

and (iii) no complexity (control – SC). In the HC condition, the cognitive parameters of the series with four blows followed the following sequence: 1. Change of order

4. Reversal of order. In the LC condition, the working memory parameters were organized as follows: 1. Retention of order

4. Reversal of order. In the SC condition, there was no manipulation of the working memory parameters

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Young tennis athletes of both sexes; aged between 9 and 11 years; stage 1 green of the Play and Stay method; typical development; participation in weekly structured tennis training sessions of at least 60 minutes in the three months prior to the start of the research

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Completion of stage 2 (orange) of the Play and Stay method; neurodivergent individuals; use of psychotropic medications; less than 60 minutes of structured tennis training per week; consuming food and/or beverages containing caffeine two hours before the session

Expected outcome 1: The effect of the tennis task intervention during structured sessions is expected to be evaluated by measuring the increased frequency of the Total Cognitive Error (ECTotal) notational analysis determined by cognitive enrichment on working memory under High Complexity (AC), Low Complexity (BC), and No Complexity (SC) conditions;Outcome found1: A high number of occurrences was observed through the frequency of the notational analysis of Total Cognitive Error (ECTotal) in the High Complexity (AC) and Low Complexity (BC) conditions compared to the No Complexity (SC) condition during the structured sessions determined by cognitive enrichment on working memory with post-hoc comparisons with Tukey adjustment indicating significant differences between all conditions (HC - NC: p < 0.01; HC - NC: p < 0.001; NC - NC: p < 0.05)

However, Tukey's post-hoc test revealed a significant difference exclusively between the Low Complexity (BC) and No Complexity (SC) conditions in accuracy
