Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find an increase of 5mmHg diastolic blood pressure (DBP), 10mmHg in systolic blood pressure (SBP) verified through the auscultatory method during exercise, as well as an increase of at least 10 beats in heart rate (HR), monitored by a heart rate monitor . The double product (DP) will be calculated by multiplying the values obtained for HR and SBP. The variables will be analyzed during periods of exercise and post-exercise rest.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
We intend to verify the effect of the handgrip on the subjective perception of effort (BORG scale) during and after exercise. Any adverse events will be recorded and reported.
