| It is expected with the salivary cortisol test, to assess the stress level of the participants, because under normal conditions, when a challenge or a threat is perceived, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis is activated, resulting in an increase in the glucocorticoid hormone cortisol (SILVA; ENUMO, 2014).;It is expected that with the use of digital infrared thermography, temperature changes during the application of reiki are found, as thermography is an adjuvant and complementary method to perform evaluations of temperature and heat variations in skin lesions (CHAVES et al., 2015 ,MARTÍNEZ-JIMÉNEZ et al., 2013; MARTÍNEZ-JIMÉNEZ et al., 2018). | — |
